Disasters come in many forms, Natural Disasters, Accidents, Technology Failures and Breakdowns, and Malicious events. No matter what the cause of the disaster, you may lose access to the health information at your practice. By being aware of the potential risks to your practice, and putting safeguards and backup systems into place in advance you will be in a better position to recover from a disaster.
