About the Speakers
Nicholas Todd, DPM, FACFAS| Dr. Todd is board certified in foot surgery and rear foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. podiatric foot and ankle surgeon. He
completed his residency at Saint Mary’s Podiatric Surgical program and fellowship at the Silicon Valley Reconstructive/Trauma Foot and Ankle. Currently, he works for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation including his position as associate director of innovation
Thomas Chang, DPM | Dr. Chang is a board-certified podiatric surgeon who specializes in conditions of the foot and ankle. A graduate of Temple University
School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., he completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Emory / Northlake regional Medical Center in
Atlanta, Ga. He is Clinical Professor and Past Chairman in the Department of Podiatric Surgery at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, as well as past chief of podiatric surgery at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion.
Lawrence Oloff, DPM, FACFAS | Dr. Oloff serves as residency director at St. Mary’s medical Center and as faculty of the Silicon Valley Reconstructive
Foot and Ankle Fellowship. He has served as team doctor for the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, US Decathlon team, Stanford Athletics,
Santa Clara University Athletics, and San Jose Ballet. He has served as a consultant for the Golden State Warriors and various junior colleges
throughout the bay area. He is entering 23rd year as a team doctor with the San Francisco Giants. Dr Oloff has authored dozens of research articles in
podiatric and medical journals, as well as dozens of chapters in textbooks.
Matthew Doyle, DPM, MS, FACFAS | Dr. Doyle is a board certified, fellowship trained podiatric foot and ankle surgeon. He completed his residency at Kaiser
San Francisco Bay Area Foot and Ankle and fellowship at the Silicon Valley Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Mountain View, CA. Currently, he
works for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, is the director of podiatric medical education for St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco and is faculty for AO
Glenn Wienraub, DPM | Dr. Weinraub is a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon specializing in ankle joint replacement, trauma, arthroscopy and adult ankle &
foot deformities. He completed a three-year Podiatric surgical residency program at Fairfax Hospital/Georgetown University Hospital in Northern Virginia. This
included a 6-month training program in reconstructive lower extremity plastic surgery. He is on the academic staff at two Podiatric medical colleges and is the
CEO of a philanthropic surgical organization known as Bones Pro Bono, a group of Orthopaedic & Podiatric surgeons donating their time and skills to the Danang
Orthopaedic Hospital in Vietnam. Dr. Weinraub is Past President of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
Allen Mark Jacobs, DPM, FACFAS| Dr. Jacobs is in private practice in St. Louis, Missouri. He is board certified in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle by
the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. For 25 years, Dr. Jacobs served as a Director of
Podiatric Surgical Residency Training; and has also served as a contributing editor to the Journal of Foot Surgery, Podiatry Today, Foot and Ankle Quarterly, and
Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Jacobs is widely published and a national speaker on podiatric medicine and surgery.
Samantha Williams, DPM, AACFAS| Dr. Williams practices in Santa Clara, California at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. She recently completed her fellowship at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Mountain View, California under the guidance of Dr. Meagan Jennings, Dr. Nicholas Todd, Dr. Lawrence Oloff, and many others. She trained at the JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach Florida under Dr. John Levin where she served as Chief Resident. Her surgical and research interests are sports medicine, total ankle arthroplasty, and reconstruction.
Christy King, DPM| Dr Christy King is an attending surgeon at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA. She is the residency director of the Kaiser SF Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program. She has a heavy sports medicine and trauma practice, and she takes pride in mentoring the next generation of foot and ankle surgeons along with the advancement of surgical skills research.
Chandler Ligas, DPM | Dr. Ligas received his doctorate in podiatry from Kent State University. He completed his residency at Emory University. He is affiliated with the Sutter Medical Network and is a Fellow of the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group
