DEA Required Training on Opioid Prescribing

As medical providers we have a goal of reducing pain and suffering. To achieve that goal we use opioid analgesics, non-opioid analgesics, and other modalities. This program will discuss the indications, contraindications, benefits, and risks of various forms of analgesia.

What Will You Learn?

The DEA has instituted a rule that requires all healthcare providers to take 8 hours of Opioid Prescription Training to renew their DEA licenses. This is known as the MATE act.

This course satisfied the MATE act training requirement.
