Kyle Schweser, MD

Kyle Schweser, MD, FAOA| Dr. Schweser is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Missouri. He is a member of the trauma division and the director of the foot and ankle division. Dr. Schweser specializes in orthopaedic trauma care and foot and ankle reconstruction. He has a specific research interest in infection, foot and ankle reconstruction, and outcomes following trauma surgery. Dr. Schweser has received several research awards including the Basic Science Chairmans Award at the 2023 Orthopaedic Trauma Association annual meeting, and the Gold Medal recipient for the AO Research Olympiad in Davos, Switzerland in 2023. He is on several committees between AAOS, AO, and OTA and enjoys contributing the education of future orthopaedic surgeons.
