Thomas Chang
Dr. Chang received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Washington University in St.
Louis and earned his podiatric medical degree from Temple University School of
Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 3-year Surgical Residency program in
Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and ankle at Emory/Northlake regional Medical
Center in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Chang spent 8 years in academic medicine from 1993-2001, and is a Clinical Professor and Past Chairman in the Department of Podiatric Surgery at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Currently he is now returning back to the same college at Samuel Merritt University, and is a Professor and Co-chair in the Department of Podiatric Surgery. His textbook, “Master Techniques in Podiatric Surgery: The Foot and Ankle” has sold over 10,000 copies worldwide and 25% of the sales goes toward medical mission funds. He has served on the editorial board of both the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
